1. To adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to Company "Code of Conduct" and H3SE rules and regulations.
2. To implement H3SE rules and requirements within his area of responsibility, and to comply with H3SE training requirements for the position.
3. To ensure that safe working practices are used within the team along all phases of project
4. To ensure that contractual scope of work is duly and timely performed by Contractor(s).
5. To ensure daily liaison with Contractor(s) with regards to disciplines-related matters.
6. To participates to weekly and/or monthly coordination meetings with Contractor(s) as appropriate.
7. To ensure follow-up / review / validation of progress performed by Contractor(s) with regard to his/her disciplines and analyses/reports drifts that could occur and propose remedial solutions.To participate and communicate with the other work teams (Platform, SPS, etc) of the project in matters related to the activities he/she is in charge of.
8. To participate in KoM, PIM/PPM (if deemed necessary/relevant).
9. To supervise and control the detailed engineering by timely reviewing the disciplines-related documentation issued by Contractor (WPS / WPQR / technical documentation / queries / derogation requests...), in order to ensure compliance with Project Specifications and Procedures (when applicable), international norms and standards with the objective to ensure respect of the schedule and to optimise costs without impacting required level of Quality and Safety.
10. To raise consequently necessary comments and highlight unsafe design, deviations, unacceptable / unjustified design choices, constructability issues...
11. To ensure that all necessary fabrication engineering documents related to welding/NDT discipline are in place and signed by all relevant parties for the needs prior starting fabrication & construction activities.
12. Participate or lead, as required, to technical meeting with Contractor(s).
13. To assist URF Flowline Lead and CPY Representatives at fabrication sites, in particular:
- Witness of welding operations, welding operator qualification and equipment, including acceptance criteria;
- Review of NDE techniques and NDE Operatives and acceptance criteria;
- Assessment and evaluation of welding environment and facilities, including arrangements for personnel protection and HSE;
- Examination and assessment of materials and consumables;
- Attendance at Independent, Third Party “Test-House” to witness mechanical testing (e.g. CTOD, Charpy V, Proof and Tensile Testing);
- Review and approval of any “Special Processes” (Heat Treatment, Induction Bending, Pickling, Passivating etc.)...
14. To participate to the resolution of any discipline-related problem occurring during the Execution Phase, to review and give recommendation on technical deviation requests and to keep updated the documentation related to the disciplines.
15. To suggest / organise / participate to all necessary inspections and give advices on the matter with regards to disciplines related matters.
16. To participate project reviews as requested by company’s referential (HAZOP, HAZID, PTR, JRA...inc. Constructability Reviews) and prepare or participate in QA/QC Audits for offshore operations and onshore construction.
17. To provide offshore assistance for all matters related to corrosion/welding/NDT during critical phases of operations, laying and tests.
18. To review and validate when relevant the Management of Change Requests.
19. To follow offshore/onshore construction at worksites, if required.
20. To ensure adequate and timely reporting to URF package manager (progress, concerns), and, as a general manner, anticipates problems, optimizes, improves, offers solutions with regards to his discipline.
21. To ensure confidentiality of all the documentation produced (whatever its support)
22. To gather, as requested, ‘lessons learnt’ provide feedback to the URF Package Manager and other company entities as required.

Tələblər

Mechanical Engineering degree with knowledge in Corrosion & Material

Welding Engineering degree

Familiar with all NDT techniques used in the O&Gas industry. Liaise with the COMPANY UFR NDT specialist

10-15 years in material/corrosion/welding/NDT disciplines

(Experience in “SURF” design, procurement, installation/construction engineering)

A good knowledge of COMPANY General Specifications (GS) referential and International codes/standards (inc. DNV) related to design, fabrication and inspection in material/corrosion/welding/NDT.

Be skilled in using computer programs for Word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail communications.
Extended capability in managing self – time management, setting priorities, creative thinking etc.
Extended capability in developing working relationships through effective communication.
Be fluent in English. (French speaking will be a plus)
