Description

The job holder’s overall responsibility is to provide support for the design and installation engineering (including vessel anchor patterns, marine spread mobilisation, vessels operations, etc..) required for the Installation of the Oil Rocks Receiving Facilities, in order to ensure that all the Installation activities are planned safely and efficiently and in line with Company objectives.
The job holder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules & requirements, with regards to the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and for implementing and controlling these rules and requirements within his area of responsibility.
The job holder shall:
 Follow up on project requirements, design criteria, functional requirements, codes and rules for the performance of activities related to the Installation of the Oil Rocks Receiving Facilities (engineering, fabrication, qualification, testing, preparation, execution of installation operations).
 Follow up on installation engineering activities for the proper execution of the PLATFORM package, this includes mobilization/ sea-fastening/load-out (and associated calculation notes), transportation (vessel stability...), installation.
 Submit action plans as required for the proper execution of the activities under his responsibility.
 Prepare necessary supporting technical documents related to design and installation engineering.
 Ensure adequate technical support to Construction Lead during all phases of the project (Clarification, Preparation, Vessel Mobilization and Execution) for all technical matters.
 Participate as Company reference for design and installation engineering topics during Clarification/Preparation/Execution phases.
 Ensure that Contractor works as per the Project Specifications.
 Participate to the interface management as part of the installation team.
 Ensure, in cooperation with the Company HSE Team, that risk assessments are properly conducted.
 Assess the suitability of mitigation measures proposed by Contractor during Risk Assessment.
 Follow as technical support the offshore installation works and manage all Management of Changes.
 Manage and ensure that the as-built documentation is properly prepared and handed over to Company.
 Ensure that all surveys (pre-engineering, pre-installation, post-installation, etc.) are prepared, carried out and handed over to Company.
 Record facts related to potential or issued Change Order Requests
 Review Contractor design dossier, procurement engineering (datasheets, specifications...), fabrication engineering associated ITPs, installation methods statements, procedures/workplans/calculation notes.
 Participate or lead, as required, meetings with Contractor.
 Ensure with Company RSES proper ad equation between design and installation engineering, and physical execution of the work.
 Provide offshore assistance and manage major changes during critical phases of operations and tests.
 Review and validate when relevant the Management of Change Requests.
 Ensure adequate and timely reporting to Construction Lead (progress, concerns), and, as a general manner, anticipates problems, optimizes, improves, offers solutions with regards to his discipline.

Requirements

Service Holder must have:
 At least 10 years of technical and operational experience and knowledge on similar offshore projects within discipline with an extended capability of application.
 Proven experience in design and installation engineering.
 Proven ability in the knowledge and understanding of planning / schedules, forecasting and risk management.
 Extended capability in managing self – time management, setting priorities, creative thinking, etc...
 Extended capability in developing working relationships through effective communication.
 Fluent in English
