JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Human Resource Coordinator will play a key role in developing the provision of human resource services and works in conjunction with Azerbaijanoffice staff, Washington-based staff, and other staff as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing and formalizing service contracts for persons providing services;
  • Preparing and formalizing labor contracts for employees;
  • Registering labor contracts in e-government system;
  • Issuing and registering decrees;
  • Registering and filling out labor books;
  • Maintaining current HR files and databases, performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained;
  • Preparing job description and job ads for new vacancies;
  • Consideration of incoming applications, calling up potential candidates;
  • Screening resumes, phone / in person interviews;
  • Conducting and analyzing exit interviews;
  • Prepares HR orders and special HR forms in compliance with legislative standards;Responsible for keeping individual personnel records;
  • Performs clerical duties such as document processing, record keeping and report compilation;
  • Maintains and update records for control purposes;
  • Support processes observing the Company procedures;
  • Optimizes the distribution of the human resources among the various activities;
  • Answering employee requests and questions;
  • Other related HR duties as assigned.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS:Part-Time, service contract

REPORTS TO: Country Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University graduate;
  • 1-3 years’ work experience in HR sphere;
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Azerbaijani;
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Turkish and Russian is a plus;
  • Effective communication skills;
  • Familiarity with American Councils programs;
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively;
  • Knowledge of MS Word & Excel;
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • Detail-oriented;
