The service holder is responsible, within the URF team, to provide the principal expertise in the field of marine operations, to follow up and supervise Vessels Marine Acceptance process up to final acceptance and endorsement, to provide support to marine and installation / offshore construction activities.
The service holder reports directly to the URF Construction Lead.
The service holder may also be required to assist other Company stakeholders (the Platform package and Field Operations) for marine matters related to project activities.
The service holder is also accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE and Compliance rules & requirements and for implementing HSSE and Compliance rules within his area of responsibility.

Master Mariner, STCW Class 1. OVID accreditation would be considered as an advantage
Minimum 15 years experience in management of Marine Operations, including Vessel Marine Acceptance process, Suitability Survey, OVID.
Experience with Offshore Projects (deep water, pipelay in anchored mode, lifting activities).
Minimum 5 years experience in conventional offshore (pipelay in anchored mode and jacket/topsides) installation.
Significant experience in deep water projects.
Working knowledge of vessels/assets management is mandatory (inc. Vessel Marine acceptance process).
Skills and experience of management of contractor or subcontractor in complex multicultural and multi site context.
Working knowledge of International standards applying to vessels (ISM and ISPS),
Fluent English (written and spoken) mandatory, Russian and Azerbaijani would be a plus.
OGUK Offshore Medical Certificate & BOSIET, STCW would be a plus
