Accountant
Job Description
Firm is looking for an experienced Accountant to join one of its long-term project and oversee accounting operations. Successful candidates will be offered full time position.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable
• Prepare and submit invoices, execute paperwork;
• Reconcile bank receipts with outstanding receivables;
• Update and maintain accounts receivable sub-ledger;
• Ensure that clients are properly and timely billed for goods or services;
• Control timely and complete collection of receivables;
• Communicate with clients on a daily basis to resolve billing and collection issues;
• Generate reports for internal use;
Accounts Payable
• Verify invoices and check requests;
• Agree invoices with management;
• Prepare and process payments via Internet banking;
• Update and maintain accounts payable sub-ledger;
• Communicate with suppliers regarding invoicing and payment issues;
• Generate reports for internal use
Statutory Accounting
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax, social security, statistical reports;
• Managing and executing statutory payments;
• Monitor VAT settlements;
• Forecast tax payments for cash flow managemnt;
• Respond to queries from authorities.
Minimum requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position;
• Experience in contract management and billing;
• Experience in bank transactions;
• Experience in statutory accounting transactions;
• Above average Excel skills;
• Above average management information system (e.g. 1C, SAP, etc) skills;
• Upper-intermediate English and Russian;
• Good communication skills
